Usage Limits
Sydx AI uses a usage-based entitlement system — all features are unlocked on every plan, but usage is capped based on your subscription tier.
Limit Types

What Happens When You Hit a Limit?
When you reach a usage limit:
- The action is blocked — You'll receive a clear notification in the interface
- Current usage is shown — For example, "500 of 500 messages used"
- Upgrade recommendation — The system suggests the next plan with higher limits
- No data loss — Existing data is never deleted or affected
Monthly Reset
- Messages, campaigns, and AI credits reset at the start of each calendar month
- Contacts, staff, automations, and templates are cumulative (total count, not monthly)
Checking Your Usage
From the Dashboard
The billing page shows a visual breakdown of your usage:
- Progress bars for each limit
- Current usage vs. maximum allowed
- Color-coded warnings (green → yellow → red)
Approaching Limits
You'll see warnings when you reach:
- 75% — Yellow indicator
- 90% — Orange warning notification
- 100% — Red, action blocked
Free Trial Details
- Duration: 7 days from account creation
- All features unlocked with conservative limits
- After expiry: You must purchase a subscription to continue
- Lockout modal appears after trial expiration, guiding you to the billing page
Pro Tip
Monitor your usage regularly from the billing page. If you consistently hit limits before the end of the month, it's time to upgrade to the next tier.
