Campaigns
Campaigns allow you to send approved WhatsApp templates to multiple contacts at once — perfect for announcements, promotions, re-engagement, and marketing outreach.
Creating a Campaign
Step 1: Click "New Campaign"
Navigate to Dashboard → Campaigns and click the "New Campaign" button.
Step 2: Campaign Details

| Campaign Name | Internal name for tracking (e.g., "March Promo 2026") |
| Template | Select an approved WhatsApp template |
| Target Audience | Choose contacts: All, by tags, by status, or manual selection |
Step 3: Preview & Confirm
- Preview how the template will look to recipients
- Review the target audience count
- Confirm and launch the campaign
You can only use Meta-approved templates for campaigns. Unapproved templates cannot be sent through the WhatsApp Business API. See Templates to learn how to create and submit templates for approval.
Target Audience Selection
Choose who receives your campaign:

| All Contacts | Send to every contact in your database |
| By Tags | Send to contacts with specific tags (e.g., "Premium", "Newsletter") |
| By Status | Send to contacts with a specific lead status (e.g., all "Warm" leads) |
| Manual Selection | Hand-pick individual contacts from a list |
Campaign Status
After launching, campaigns progress through these statuses:

| Queued | Campaign is scheduled and waiting to process |
| In Progress | Messages are being sent out |
| Completed | All messages have been sent |
| Failed | Campaign encountered an error |
| Partially Completed | Some messages sent, some failed |
Campaign Analytics
After a campaign is sent, track its performance:

| Total Sent | Number of messages dispatched |
| Delivered | Messages successfully delivered to recipients |
| Read | Messages that were read by recipients |
| Failed | Messages that failed to deliver |
| Delivery Rate | Percentage of messages delivered vs. sent |
| Read Rate | Percentage of delivered messages that were read |
Campaign History
The campaigns page shows a history of all your campaigns with:
- Campaign name and template used
- Date launched
- Target audience size
- Status (Completed / In Progress / Failed)
- Quick metrics (delivered %, read %)
Click on any campaign to see its detailed analytics.
Usage Limits
Campaign sending is subject to your plan's monthly message limits:

If you reach your monthly message limit during a campaign, the remaining messages will not be sent. You'll receive a notification to upgrade your plan.
Best Practices
- Segment your audience — Don't blast everyone. Use tags and statuses to target relevant groups
- A/B test templates — Try different message templates to see which gets better read rates
- Respect WhatsApp policies — Don't spam. Meta may restrict your number if you receive too many blocks
- Time it right — Send campaigns during business hours for better open rates
- Follow up — After a campaign, monitor your Inbox for replies and engage personally
